Pretty much as the title suggests, but has anyone had any luck with faking their resume or lying about their work history? I've been out of work for a few years due to health reasons, but in the interim I went back to school and finished my degree.
Despite putting out numerous applications, I've had no luck; I either get passed over or I don't get a call back which has been extremely discouraging.
I'm at the point where I'm thinking about listing my old job as my current job which would buy me a few years of reliability on paper, but I'm not sure if there's any real risk of a potential employer finding out I'm lying.
I've even thought about making up a company and listing that.
Any and all feedback is appreciated. I want to work, but the hoops that need to be jumped through make it feel like it's impossible in my current situation.
