What would you do in this situation, if you weren't able to get another job?
Someone i know is always complaining because of this, and it's frustrating. Today he was so busy that he couldn't leave his position and he almost pisses himself.
My opinion is invalid because I've never been in fast food before, but I wouldn't kill myself knowing that managers do this on purpose. Coworker has to leave me alone to eat luch at some point in their 12 hour shift? okay, I'll keep the pace of a 1 person team, even if a line forms. Not my problem, what did they expect?
You know what i mean? It's hard because people don't want to get fired, they have to pay the bills. But these things happen because their bosses know they can get away with it.
They can make people work 12 hour shifts without a 30 minute break, they can reduce someone's hours as “punishment” for calling out, they can expect a two person team to be as efficient as a full crew. Fuck them man.
