I'm texted my manager tonight but am also planning on talking to him tomorrow about it. Since it was on indeed im Shit outta luck, but I'm gonna basically tell him that if we can't get it corrected, then when the other place I applied to gives me hours I'm quitting no 2 weeks. Is this acceptable, or am I over reacting?
I've already been in the process of looking for another job since the pay even at $17 an hour is not worth it for the literal back breaking labor of package handling. I could work in a kitchen near me doubles for $14.5 an hour and still not be as tired. I'm a pretty athletic build 6'4 as well so I can't even begin to image what the others are going through.
I have not yet told them I am searching for another job and likely won't want to work at fedex ever again so I won't need 2 weeks.
