Feeling lost and without purpose… currently unemployed

I 26f thought I had everything figured out 3 years ago. I was working as a bridal consultant and I discovered a love for bridal. I love fashion and working with couture dresses was a dream. I got my first bridal stylist job in 2019, laid off cause of covid. Got another one in 2020 and didn’t like the shop because they priced the dresses depending on people’s budgets. We would give people 500 dollar discount for no reason to get a sale, or the opposite if someone comes in with a 3k budget and the dress is 1700 we might make it 2500. So I left and went to another store… this store was the same. So I went to another store.. and this one didn’t do that so I was very happy for the time being. They overpriced their dresses which I always rolled my eyes at but…

They overpriced their dresses which I always rolled my eyes at but at least everyone was paying the same price. The problem was we didn’t get commission and had to ask for tips. Which I never heard of. Over time selling a 500 dollar dress for 2000 dollars when their budget was 1500 then asking them for a tip was incredibly awkward and I just couldn’t ask anymore. Then they implemented different bundle deals to sell to people as well. Like 500 dollars for a bag and steaming which was FREE before. The longer I stayed the more I felt exploitative… like a cars salesman with no commission. So I left. I’ve come to realize that it’s the industry that’s bad. So I’ve been thinking of what career change. I started researching about real estate…. And my conclusion is that it’s the same ducking bs. Capitalism has ruined so many things …
Sorry for my rambling rant, I have a hard time articulating my feelings. I don’t want to live to just make money but you need to make money to live.
