I just put in a one month notice at my job, I'm 17 in my senior year and between work and school I feel like I'm drowning. It just contributed to my partner being sent to the hospital (same place of employment.) The store manager will stare at us on the cameras, even when he's at his house. He talks down to everyone, and acts like we're an issue when we call out. Half of my co workers act like middle schoolers, gossiping and talking behind everyone's backs. My partner is going to be resigning when they get back as well, which is hilarious, as 2 other people with my position and 4 with my partners position have quit or are quitting soon as well. I make 95 cents above minimum wage, I could go work at a different store for a position below what I do, and make more. My partner would be paid better for the same position, hopefully this is a lesson to them to treat their workers better and pay proper wages.
