What comes after quiet quitting?

I may be simply dreaming about something that would never happen. But I see many indicators where companies believe that by cancelling “work from home” and provoking a recession, workers will become like rabid dogs competing against colleagues to do the most work possible. But what would happen if factors like this further disincentivises people to work? And what happens if quiet quitting goes onto the inevitable next stage of “quiet sabotage”?
