Work was a shit show yesterday. I had almost 100 online orders to pick, which wouldn't have been bad to have managed by myself if I didn't have to simultaneously train 3 people and help customers on the floor due to short staffing.
The orders went past a certain pending time which which is bad, because you know, capitalists like to monitor how long everything takes to make sure their slave operations are running at maximum capacity. So naturally, management started their passive aggressive “we can't be doing this level of work, what's going on here” blah blah blah, and the new trainee started having a mental breakdown and the bitch said “wE cAnt Be BeHaviNg liKe thAT on oUr FiRsT dAy” like bruh if that was my first day I'd do the same lmao.
So I texted them saying “I'm sick, can't come in”. To which of course they replied “dID yOu cALl tHe MOd LiNe” which is another passive way of them getting pissy, probably because they want to hear my voice to know if I'm actually sick. Oh, but they spread mental health awareness and that they care for us!
