I am at a loss for words. I worked as a shipping associate in a small mom-and-pop warehouse. Basically breaking down pallets, tracking inventory, and restocking.
Today I received a text message that I am being terminated for “inattentiveness” after 2 days.
I have not made one mistake at the job. Yesterday I went into work and they claimed there were 8 items not showing up from an order I tracked. I searched around and immediately found the box containing the missing order items. Not an apology or anything, just get back to work. I’m always yes sir and yes ma’aming everyone. I show everyone respect no matter what. I ask questions when I am uncertain to avoid mistakes (I ask logical questions and it’s never overboard to when it’s annoying). and I look people in the eyes and greet them.
I go into work in an hour to pickup my 2 days worth of money. What the fuck do I tell them and how do I make sure I’m represented correctly ?
