I’m working on a project to create a calendar for scheduling equipment maintenances at my work. The project was given to my colleague and I in the last week of April. We ran into issues in May with my manager explaining what they wanted…they told me they wanted something, then changed it, and gaslit me about what they initially said they wanted. Fine. Then the sheet crashed and was unrecoverable so we had to make a new spread sheet. Then we start building out the calendar with the data we gathered, and it turns out it takes about 5min to verify the equipment, date, intervention type etc. per equipment and there’s over 400 pieces of equipment—Aka we need more ppl to help us work on this. Then my manager gets mad that it’s taking longer than we thought, I explain the set backs and we bring 3 new people into the project last week to finish by the last week of May. I told her we had technically finished inputting all the dates, but we needed to go back and double check everything b/c I already saw discrepancies going through it. My manager sends an aggressive message this morning saying there are mistakes etc. and is mad because they keep getting docked with non conformance’s because they’re missing scheduling the maintenances (in some cases that haven’t been scheduled since 2021) and my manager is mad at us about it. Like…you could have given us this project in January, it is not our fault that this is taking longer than you expected, you have not helped us out in any way during the entire project, you brought in 3 new people a week before you wanted it due, but yeah blame us for not being on top of stuff.
