I work at a hospital, and in a recent news letter, very proudly announced that the employees are putting on a food drive for other employees who don't have enough.
“We don't pay our employees enough to buy food, so we're having other employees use their paycheck to feed them instead of US paying more”, is NOT the heartwarming story they were trying to make it out to be. Big yikes.
And no, the hospital itself is not contributing anything to the drive as far as I know. I'm sure they would give themselves a huge shout-out if they actually were
