So my spouse was told that they need to cut hours at his job last week and this week and that he could take it as vacation time. (He has plenty of accrued PTO that they said he can use).
I wasn't understanding how that can help them save money, but he said it comes out of their vacation hours, not their payroll hours for budgeting purposes.
One, does that sound legit and two, can they MAKE him take time off?
