Forearm Health and Maintenance in the Kitchen? Tendinitis…

I've got a crappy job where I work at a big grill in a kitchen and I'm flinging around big spatulas all day. I've, also, gotta use tongs and stuff to grab the ingredients, so that constant “clamping down” movement gets fatiguing/ irritating to the tendons in my wrists and forearms. I've got to really stay on top of it and pace myself in order for it to not get too out of control… Is there anything you guys recommended to maintain my tendon/ forearm health at a job like this? Do you ice when you get home? If so, what is your icing protocol?? I know there are some sprays or balms that people use for “restoration” or whatever -Tiger Balm, arnica and such… Sucks, cuz I'm a musician, but I need this job right now, and I actually do like it. Just need to get this under control……
