Title, I’m getting less hours than my replacement after being out sick for one week (with a doctors note).
I have been working their for a total of 2 weeks and now week 3 has started and I’m already getting 10 less hours than before.
Do I put in a two weeks (and then just not show up) or just quit outright?
I had to what felt like pull teeth just to get them to hire me and then they turn around and replace me with a college kid (who has made it abundantly clear he will be quitting once he graduates next year) less than three weeks in because I got sick for a week and was even sent home for trying to come into a work, I’m so disappointed and upset because I wanted this job and it’s in a specific field I enjoy… I guess I will go back to working jobs I hate and hoping one day I can start my own device repair business.
Sad rant over, I was just wanting a place to vent and commiserate with others about shitty work conditions.
