So this group “opt out today” has been targeting union members and sending letters about how to drop out of the union. “Opt out today” is part of the “freedom foundation” – a right wing group funded by CEOs and billionaires. They’ve been getting contact information of millions of union members and sending misleading and harassing letters urging members to drop out of the union.
Their latest letter is titled “critical legal update” starts with “LEGAL NOTICE: immediate response to this notice requested”, it basically provides a fillable form for members to fill out and drop the union. It is very misleading and very deceptive. I just got a copy of it today.
Anyways, the letter has their phone number. I already left them a message telling them to fuck off and die. Not telling you to do the same thing, but here’s their number. Do what you want with it:
