From working hybrid to remote and now all in_+-office

I have been working for a marketing sales firm since 2020 and after serving a 6 month probation (being in office everyday) I was able to work hybrid. Productivity since then has skyrocketed and I have only been going in 2 days a week since my job requires focus time by myself in order to complete big projects. This year our company has been bought by an international one and they have required us to come into the office from 8am-5pm. This was not taken well especially considering that this new company has increased our targets and made commission harder to attain (my department has not earned commission this whole year and we are not paid industry-standard) Their reason for coming into the office is for us to share ideas and collaborate, yet the person who relayed this message is not even based in our continent and works fully remotely.…

This year our company has been bought by an international one and they have required us to come into the office from 8am-5pm. This was not taken well especially considering that this new company has increased our targets and made commission harder to attain (my department has not earned commission this whole year and we are not paid industry-standard)

Their reason for coming into the office is for us to share ideas and collaborate, yet the person who relayed this message is not even based in our continent and works fully remotely. The entire office has not taken it well and I've noticed an immediate drop in my productivity and motivation.

I'm sitting at home this morning trying to kill time and go in as late as I possibly can because this is ridiculous.

I'm still quite early in my career with 3 years of experience and am wondering if it is worth sticking it out? What has your experience been with an all in office mandate from upper management?
