Today I made my kid go to school sick. Why? Because my general manager said he doesn't believe Directors should work from home and I need to use PTO or Sick if I need to stay home for any reason. I only have 4 hours of sick left and no PTO. If my employees told me they were in the situation I would tell them to take the day off and not worry. I would make sure they were paid and they know it. But I can't get the same from my boss.
