I applied for a job on Indeed a few weeks ago and got an email a few days ago (Monday) from the recruiter for the company saying they reached out via email a little less than a couple weeks ago saying they wanted to schedule a phone interview with me but haven't heard back from me but was wondering if I was still interested—I never got an email, but I replied anyway saying I was still interested and would love to schedule a phone interview. We scheduled one for “next week on Wednesday at 9:30am.” I assumed this meant next week and not today, but I anticipated a call this morning just in case. At exactly 9:30 this morning my phone rang for half a ring before I even had a chance to answer, the person left a voicemail saying she tried reaching me and was only available until 10 to talk. I called back right away, I'm not sure why my phone didn't even really ring or give me a chance to answer, but she didn't pick up and I got an email at 9:35 from the person saying we'd have to reschedule for next week now. I'm not sure she knows what next week even means. But now I'm like… this doesn't seem worth the effort of trying to get a hold of this person who doesn't even understand the meaning of next week and doesn't allow a phone call to go through a full ring or waits five minutes before sending an email saying she tried getting a hold of me (or even sends out an email in the first place because I never got one to schedule a phone interview two weeks ago) and she keeps being like, “Let me know if you're no longer interested.” Like I am, but are you?!
