I got my dream job yesterday, extremely excited. I’ve been so burnt out at the job I have now so it’s a relief. Just wanted to get some others opinions on this. I was open with him about my plans to try and get this new job, just out of respect so I didn’t blindside him with a two week notice. Ended up hearing through the grapevine that he was saying things like ‘he won’t do good there, I bet he won’t go anywhere’. Not that I give a shit but I just didn’t understand why he would say things like that. Anyway, yesterday I officially gave my two weeks notice and the first reply I got was ‘if you don’t mind, what did they offer you?’ And basically I just have a bad feeling about it. I don’t want to tell him shit. Your take?
