Getting divorced and being pressured into serving weddings

I'm a bartender from the UK, we get shit pay £10.55 an hour, supervisors do 2x as much to do and 45p extra an hour for the it. We don't get our wage made up in tips, in fact this place has changed the tipping policy so it reflects how many hours you work, not how many tips you got. The new manager likes to act as if we're all one big happy family, and that our company is one that actually cares about its staff. Cut to a week after the wedding I'd just had to serve. I came back from that wedding and cried, this is everything my ex wife wanted, and our wedding sucked, all the effort I put in and she'd rag on how it sucked. I spent the whole shift wanting to run away but feeling like I couldn't leave my co-workers in the shit,…

Cut to a week after the wedding I'd just had to serve. I came back from that wedding and cried, this is everything my ex wife wanted, and our wedding sucked, all the effort I put in and she'd rag on how it sucked. I spent the whole shift wanting to run away but feeling like I couldn't leave my co-workers in the shit, as the company hadn't bothered bringing on enough staff.

They're now trying to strongarm me into doing another wedding. When I found out I was scheduled to do another wedding I told my manager I couldn't do it. She got all arsey with me saying how I don't get to pick my own hours (I do, it's a zero hour contract, if I don't want to work a day I don't have to), then she started going on about how she's been divorced too. She huffed and puffed but eventually took me off the rota… Only to put me back on a couple days later.

I'm considering leaving now. But at the same time I genuinely like my co-workers for once, every other place has ostrisiced me but these people have made me feel welcome. It's just this manager and her obsession with breaking down my one boundary, which I don't think is particularly unreasonable.
