Went from making $68k as a network admin, was laid off in April with no warning. I’m behind on credit card payments, struggling to pay rent, having to sell a lot of my possessions and electronics just to make ends meet. Why are companies even allowed to do this shit? CEOs make fat stacks while us little guys lose our jobs and health insurance and the company doesn’t get any penalty or anything. This reality we live in makes me fucking sick to my stomach.
