I’m in the process of landing a big customer from a relationship that I’ve developed for years. I’ve brought this customer to multiple places throughout my career. The CEO of this small startup is pushing for the signature today, before the layoffs. They don’t know that I know about the layoffs. What would you do?

I was terminated today with severance. I was told that I was being fired because I knew about the layoffs tomorrow. Dragging my feet tipped them off.
No customer signed. I’ve talked to contact and we’re on the same page about the layoffs impacting this deal.
