Literally fuck corporate America. So my gf recently got hired on for an airline to be a ticketing agent, and I was so excited for her. They flew her out to Seattle for the training this week, gave her a card with money on it, paid for her hotel, the whole package deal.
Now she does have a history of fainting spells, and this morning it happened in her training. They called AMS and sent her to the hospital, but before they left the overseer told her she was terminated.
I’m so fucking pissed off right now, she was so excited to get this job and finally change careers. Unfortunately, big corporations only care about their bottom line, and not the health of their workers. They’re flying her back, and she is absolutely devastated.
Just goes to show how the fat cats don’t care about anything except profit.
TLDR: gf had a medical emergency and got fired because of it.
