Hey all! My agency (a non profit) just began our first DEI team (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). It’s a small team and we are all able to provide input on our goals and missions.
Two things I had in mind to present are pay being posted with all job openings and pay for interns. The pay for interns I have some ideas on why this is vital for DEI but the posting of pay rate with job descriptions I have less ideas.
I’d love to hear any ideas for how to support these to the team (whether it’s studies or just your take) and any other ideas I can present to the team to help push reform for our workers!
