We hear all day about bad bosses, they mainly all suck. But I’ve had a good boss or two. Here is what I noticed in the bosses I enjoyed working for:
-They had a sense of humor at work
-They could care less about getting fired
-We could talk about non-work topics
-My questions mattered and I got answers
-They would randomly do something nice
-They understood their job well
-Open door policy
-They would notice if I was working harder than normal
