Hey everyone, I was wondering if I could get some advice from you on what I should do about my career prospects (or lack thereof). Since Winter, I’ve been working on a high-tech auto-fulfillment center with Walmart in Robotics while getting certified as a Robotics Technician.
We got it up and running but got laid off over a month ago when they exited the testing phase and opened for their live service. Since then I’ve been out of a job and applying for literally anything automation related, as its relevant to my certification. But I’m just not getting any responses whatsoever… I’m stuck at my parent’s house, and they’re constantly telling me to find a job. But no one seems to be willing to interview me despite the “labor shortage”.
I’ve exhausted all my personal connections and I’m just grasping at straws at this point. Everyone told me learning a trade would make finding a job “easy” but so far it hasn’t done a damn thing for me… any advice would be welcome.
