I've worked at this small auto parts store in rural California for over two years. Went on vacation last month for a week and came back with our stools gone. There's been stools to sit on for as long as I've worked there without any issues. I have issue standing for 8 hours a day cause i broke my back when i was a teenager. So I ask the hr rep if anything can be done about this and she said to get a doctor's note.
So I got a doctor's note and then all of a sudden I'm getting disciplinary write ups for shit that happened well over a year ago that's already been handled and she's accusing me of stealing money and that my doctor note was fake. And I go into work today and I get fired because someone complained about offensive music that they know I was playing on a Bluetooth speaker.
I've never played any music on the Bluetooth speaker. It's obviously retaliation but I'm just not sure what to do now. I'm still kinda in shock.
