as the title shows,im a new employee at Subway and ive been working their for around a week to two weeks, i accidentally missed a shift yesterday due to not reading my timetable correctly and i thought my shift was to be today, the boss updated the timetables and my name and shifts have been removed, i havent even been notified of this cause they called me but i didn’t answer cause ive been sick with food poisoning (from their food) and was sleeping my pains off. i tried to pick up a shift but i got told they would speak to me today about it. Last time i notified them that my cat was missing and i wanted the day off to look for her on Thursday (31/8) cause i was extremely stressed out and panicking, i got told i was letting down the team and on Saturday (2/9) i had to go to my younger brothers memorial, i told them and they got it covered but i also got told next time to plan accordingly cause i was letting down the team (my family planned it last minute).
what do i do, have i been fired??
