Right off the bat in the first paragraph, I see that “I acknowledge the company has paid my salary, accrued PTO, etc”
The 2nd paragraph says they will not pay my severance package until I sign this paperwork and it's confirmed by the company.
What action do I take from here? Do I need to get a lawyer to look over this?
Edit: Perhaps I should've used “let go from the company” instead of fired. They were just cutting down on their budget, it wasn't due to any fault on my end
