Got fired unexpectedly….

Not sure this is the right place to ask for advice, but might as well give it a try. So today I went to work (front desk at clinic), doing my normal task as usual, until my manager wanted to speak with me privately. My manager then told me that they had to terminate me. Not sure this is the right place to ask for advice, but might as well give it a try. So today I went to work (front desk at clinic), doing my normal task as usual, until my manager wanted to speak with me privately. My manager then told me that they had to terminate me. Based on what they said, the reasons are the following:

  1. The environment was too fast paced for me.
  2. There were a lot of errors on the appointment scheduling system that were probably caused by me.

Although they like my positive personality and attitude, they recommended me to work somewhere slower pace. They also told me “This is nothing personal.” I am sure there is something that I did wrong, but I started this job only two months ago and just got my benefits taken care of this month. I can also clearly say that I always do my best at work, and learning from my mistakes (sorry if I sound defensive). Was this case valid enough to fire me? I know in America, we have the thing where companies can fire you “at will”. But I am not sure if I can be able to claim benefits. Other than trying to find a new job, what else can I do?
