As the title says, I have been laid off from my job. I worked as a structural welder and have been welding for almost 2 years. Towards the end of the day I was pulled aside and told that I was being laid off along with other individuals. They had my last check ready in hand and told me to collect my things and was escorted off the building.
I kinda saw this coming as work has been slowing down as there were only 2 projects going on at the moment. So I guess I have the weekend to enjoy and then search for another job to pay for my bills.
