Got laid off from my company of 7 months due to budget cuts/reducing workforce. My team is now extremely short-handed during a busy week and will be short-handed afterward. At least got a severance pay of 2 weeks and a listing of other positions i can apply to (all pay way less than i made).
Started applying instantly when i got home. Have over 30 applications out. And done 3 interviews. With more interviews lined up. Plus, having a misdemeanor on my record hopefully doesn't hurt me that badly.
I'm hoping i get a job soon as i was planning on moving out, but now it's nearly impossible as all locations need income proof.
Sucks everything is underpaid and good paid jobs required experience or higher education.
