I’ve been out of a job for over a year due to a neurological injury that causes my right arm to sporadically spaz out of control (certain situations make it worse).
Finally, I got a new job at a Liquor store. The owner and staff were (still are) very nice and understanding. My arm spazzed out many times during shift, but nothing that caused any complaints, damage, or injury.
I felt like I was doing well at the job, but then my boss comes up to me with an envelope.
He tells me that one of his prior hires that worked for him awhile ago wanted to come back, and he hired her. I got my check for 3 full days of work, and now I’m looking for a job again.
Any advice on what to do going forward? Already looking for other jobs, and my boss told me I could use him as a reference. I asked if there was any reason I gave them to let me go, and he said there was nothing.
