Got promoted from an hourly job to a salaried position at my work…only to learn I was making 10 cents more

I have to give credit to the slimebag of a company I work for, as they quoted me a salary in the interview that sounded nice and I accepted. I was previously working hourly, and assumed that the salary would translate to at least a dollar or two more in my hourly rate. I did the math – it was literally 10 cents more than my previous non-managerial position. Other slimy things my work does: 1) Expects us to stay overtime for emergencies or work weekends, but wont pay overtime. Instead, they ask that we 'take time back' and come in to work later the following week. 2) Claims I'm salaried, yet I still have to submit a timesheet and clock my hours like I'm an hourly employee. 3) Forced me to take leave without pay when I took off work to attend my grandparents' funeral. 3) Forced me to take leave without pay when I took off work to attend my grandparents' funeral. Their bereavement leave is only for parents or siblings.

4) Told my coworker that he was getting a raise, and have yet to actually bump his pay up. It's been 6 weeks since they agreed to give him a raise. They claim that he will get backpay, but I'm skeptical given my job's shady history!!

5) We accrue vacation and sick pay, but there is no way to view our current accruals without formally requesting them from HR. When we asked them to add this data to our paystubs, they waffled and sent us an excel spreadsheet and told us to calculate it on our own.

Don't ya just love work??
