I am a manager at a very large national landscaping company. At the beginning of every fiscal year the company tries to bring as many managers as possible to one location and they spend a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evening jerking everyone off about how much money each branch made and really worthless training.
I refused to go as it is another state away which would require me to stay in a hotel W-F and I wouldn’t come home to my family until Saturday morning.
Idk why my company assumes my wife can just do everything by herself for 3 days but I told them no and my boss gave me the cold shoulder for over a month and said I made him and myself look bad.
Unfortunately for him looking bad to my family is more important.
