I work for a third party company where we do the same roles as in house employees. The client is a major CC company I cannot name.
In a meeting today we were told we smashed some records. The company will get some 90k in bonuses or 100% more than our regular performance. Maybe 6 team members will get an extra 25% to their bonuses of which the top 2-3 get $1k extra per mo.
We were also told head office workers doing the same job make $40/hr and have a lunch stipend, reduced interest credit and a bunch of other perks. My team makes 21$/hr and mayyyybe a bonus for top performers. Im making McD money working a twice that value job. (Sorry American friends McD's is around 20$/hr in our monopoly money, some of y'all makin 7.50 dreaming of 20)
What was supposed to be an uplifting meeting has left me angry and feeling undervalued. Yeah we did so well someone is gonna take a great vacation this year. I haven't had a raise in a year and a half despite moving up to a higher tier team… Someone makes $45-90k monthly on our success.
