Title says it. Got turned down from another position I thought I was overqualified for. It is driving me crazy trying to find something and I don't know where to turn.
For context I have been unemployed for almost 9 months. I was a teacher but quit due to poor working conditions and low pay. Moved back home to save and change course to something more financially stable. Been applying to entry level positions (corporate facilitation, project/program management), and networking trying to get my foot in the door somewhere.
I've done dozens of applications each week, most of which get no response. Most recently went through an interview process, thought it went great, but got turned down this afternoon. I'm at the edge of my rope and savings and just looking to vent and for any advice from former teachers out there. Thank you for your time.
