Technically I work for the agent representing the company. Not the company directly.
We were having an in-office lunch meeting with a rep who works for a company we work alongside. She got to talking about the seminars her’s/our companies have for the agents and sales teams. Said things like “I get tired of my ass getting slapped. You’ll get hit on even if you’re married. They don’t care. And everyone gets drunk and sleeps with each other. Married or not.”
Y’all have at it. I better never have to go to any of these “seminars.” They sound like complete trash to me. A group of drunk, classless, cheaters intermingling under the guise of being a “business seminar”? Not my forte. It amazes me the lack of class and integrity people have. And she was talking about it like it was normal (which I’m sure it is…for them) and I got laughed at for expressing my distaste. Well I believe that says a lot more about them than me.
Heck, being an introvert, I don’t even like going to tasteful after hours work events, let alone this garbage. It will be a cold day in hell.
