A memory popped up that I felt was perfect for the sub. When I worked at my last job, a nightmare tiny accounting firm they had a few H1B employees. One employee had issues with her work visa. Due to this they were not allowed to continue working.
Truthfully I don’t know if they actually had issues or was claiming that to save face(I’m convinced it’s the latter) regardless the company owner denied her the bonus she had earned.
The absolute coward paid himself hundreds of thousands a year but refused to pay out the bonus for one of hardest workers because she couldn’t do anything about it.
I’m proud to say I didn’t give that company notice when I quit as that company owner was a genuine moron.
