After three years of working at this shit company and being at the bottom.. I watched everyone i worked with in the beginning either move up in the company or quit. I’m making one dollar more than those who get hired right now… theres no yearly pay increase, and no appreciation for my team. This company is so cheap, they gave us a plastic potato and stickers as a Christmas gift…. I should have known what the answer was gonna be..
I went in with confidence and said I need a raise or I need to be moved to another department. Get this.. he told me to work harder at my current job.. and confirmed I will NOT be getting a raise. He said “this whole idea of quiet quitting is terrible.. no one is going to pay you more if you don’t work for it. You have to work harder to get paid more”. Uhm sir I HAVE BEEN.. I had joined three different “committees” and started training others and STILL didn’t get paid more.. but was told to work harder and I might possibly get a raise in a year? FUCK THAT! No one is gonna work harder for no money buddy! What is this?
They also cut our hours and tried saying “it’s for you guys! It’s for a better work life balance!” YEA OKAY…
Every machine that breaks here is being replaced with 15 year old hand-me-down equipment because they’re too fucking cheap to give us new equipment or get someone in to fix it. A washing machine broke and cost 200 to get a guy in to fix it.. so they found a 15 year old one that cost 100 to replace it. Then they hold meetings saying “you guys need to be gentle with our equipment.. it’s all breaking and the CEO doesn’t wanna keep replacing it” like wtf is that? Yea it’s us who’s breaking your washing machines.. not the fact that it’s constantly running throughout the day cuz there’s so much to clean..
So I quit. I wish I quit on the spot but I need this fucking place as a reference.. this place will shut down soon anyway. They’re out of money and refuse to upkeep the only thing keeping this place afloat… THEIR EMPLOYEES. Fuck this place. Watch me do the bare minimum and fuck up all your paperwork before I go. Watch me not my tasks before I leave so you have to do them for me. Hope you loose money by hiring some shit ass workers after me, bitches.
