9 Half Price Books locations have unionized of their 122 currently open stores, and their union busting tactics are getting more and more grim. They’ve begun firing people, they’ve denied accessibility accommodations in order to push people out, the CEO has visited stores to curse and yell at the employees, make jokes about gender pronouns, and brag about her wealth and how she owns property all over Texas.
There is little to no communication between stores, and that is intentional. Many locations know nothing about the union effort and that’s what corporate wants, so please spread the word!
