Has anyone else noticed the shift from “essential worker” right back to “unskilled worker” over the last year?

Remember in 2020 when everyone was terrified of covid and people were going on cable news to talk about how essential people working in customer facing jobs were heroes risking their lives to keep society working but now that everyone feels safe again they've gone right back to calling people like us “unskilled workers” even though covid is still a thing? When are they going to learn that absolutely nothing has changed?
