My friend recently got offered a better position at another company, turned in his two weeks, and HR hit him with some “We are unable to accept resignations at this time” response. Obviously there’s nothing they can legally do to keep him from doing it anyway, at least nothing that I know of, but I’m curious if anyone else has had this happen to them. It’s freaky.
