I see a lot of people suggest or plan on refusing to RTO but you never really hear any updates about how it went for them. Has anyone here successfully refused RTO mandates? What did you do? How did it turn out?
Context: I have an upcoming RTO mandate in a few weeks and I really want to refuse and continue working from home. I terrified of losing my job and I am finding that remote jobs are very competitive and difficult to find. Any advice and what I can say to my employer? My manager has said that he isn't involved in any RTO decisions and that it has come from higher up and my company has just finished a bunch of layoffs. I work in the logistics industry and I fear I am extremely expendable to my company. I'm scared, any advice?
