Heat Wave

My boyfriend works in a warehouse with no a/c. There is a heatwave right now in our area, and a lot of no a/c businesses are closed, giving workers time off, or just changing hours to early in the morning. But not where my boyfriend works. He scanned the room with a thermometer and it read 110°F. He is working with minimal breaks, and was given popsicles as reinforcement like a god damn dog. Is this even legal? They “changed” the hours but he’s working his ass off in such high temps. If he was to suffer a heat stroke or anything would they be responsible? He almost passed out today. Outside is 105° and inside of the warehouse is 115°. They do not allow workers to keep the doors open, and what’s funny is that office staff get to sit inside on their asses working in the air conditioning.
