I’m applying for a job and it’s been several years since I have done regular work. I’ve been doing gig work like rideshare.
I only have a couple of “real” jobs on my resume but one of them was a family business and the other I fudged the dates to make it look like I stayed longer than I did.
Please, will somebody be my reference? I really need this job, I need the money and the stability. It’s been so many years since I’ve done this (job searched) and it’s so different than it was! I’m doing the background check paperwork but I don’t know how to complete it without this.
