advice to respond to my manager?

I'm a college student, so i take summer weekend courses for credits. I should mention I'm new at the establishment I currently work at, but i did tell my boss I will be taking weekend classes. I am scheduled for work on Saturdays and was hoping to pick up a class during my shift. I cannot for the life of me tell if I was just reading the schedule wrong and she's telling me I in fact do work on Monday's and have Saturdays off, or if shes implying since Monday's are short she has no intention to switch them around. She was very adamant on working with me as I'm a college student and help me with work, but if it's the latter I'm sort of frustrated that she's not.
