As the title suggests, I’m debating quitting today.
On Monday of last week (11/7), I told my supervisor my last day is going to be November 23rd, in hopes I would be able to use a few hours of leave I have accrued for appointments that have been scheduled for months. However, I learned today that I will be unable to use any of my leave balance before my last day, and I have a doctors appt on this Wednesday. I’m debating just quitting now. I won’t get paid out for any of my leave and I can’t use any of it.
According to the employee handbook, to quit in “good standing” means you need to work a full two weeks before quitting. I don’t want to leave anyone in a bad position, but it seems like they don’t care if I am in a bad position. I also don’t know if I care about being in “good standing” lol.
