Hello, I am 35/with treatment resistant adhd. I've been shuffled around from office job to office job. The only issue is that they require unobtainable levels of production and accuracy.
I can't take adhd meds because I am bipolar and they make me crazy. I've tried non stimulant ones and I just don't sleep for days.
Any job where I am busy with a shitload of tasks from start til finish is the bane of my existence.
I am looking for any job, requiring a new degree of not, where there really isn't a huge amount of work to do. I worked retail and it was either crazy or absolutely dead. That suited me, but I was on my feet 8 hours a day and the customers literally assaulted me & my supervisors didn't care. I won't go back to retail.
Note: security and graveyard dont work for me as i am a smol bean and am not authoritative whatsoever.
I have a bachelor's degree in communication, 5+ years of customer service and willingness to get certifications at the local community College or something of that nature.
Also, I'm about to get fired from my current job for not meeting production standards.
Let me know if you do nothing or have a manageable workload at your job. Gently saying no thank you to recommendations for security or graveyard.
