2 months ago, I was hired at a startup as a Hybrid employee required to go in office 2-3 days a week. Today, I received an email from the CEO saying that anyone within a 75 minute commute is required to come in Monday through Thursday and WFH Fridays.
What should I do? A major reason I even accepted this new job was the flexible working policy. There was no mention of a potential change down the line.
This has put a terrible taste in my mouth. I work in tech sales so the job market is terrible right now and am not confident I could quickly get a job elsewhere.
Would love to hear some thoughts.
