So I’m having trouble digging up this info l so i figured I’d reach out to the most knowledgeable people I know. My new employer(who I think I hate more than my old one) doesn’t want to pay holiday pay saying that since myself and other employees are able to work overtime that we don’t need holiday pay. I would like to know if/and/or when it holiday pay is required to be paid in the state of Mississippi.
I am already looking for a new job again cause the absolute bs at this one(way more than just this issue in this post) is getting far too out of hand. I need to arm myself with knowledge.
